Malaysia Trip
We wont be able to meet each other this whole week till saturday so i would like to tell you guys more about this trip.
OK after meeting John just now to discuss about the trip, we have reached the confirmation that we will not be able to bring Kooch, Xiao Hui & Fillet for the trip even if we have sponsors. Its part of the school rules that they will not allow non Np students for any of the school trips because they cannot take the responsibility. Dont worry John understands our situation, hes helping us wherever he can but cant do much about this situation.
Now the question is, should we go without them?
I thought hard about it and i have come to a decision - The rest of us 11 should go for the trip. I know some of you will object to it and stuff but i see the advantages of this trip.
- Like all Shows we performed at, every gig is another opportunity to perform again. Perform for gigs to get gigs remember?
- In terms of Baracuda we have nothin to lose but all the more to gain through this exposure.
- We have to repay our seniors for working hard and not getting to go to the malaysia trip that they wanted.
- There might never be this chance again especially to go with the yr 3s around, we already din go to Perth.
- Finally, We are already workin our way to PLAN B. Consider this a Bonus.
I know it seems bad for the '3' so i apologise to Xiao Hui, Fillet and Kooch. Not easy for me too to tell you guys this bad news. But for the rest think about it, why the T shirts, why the Name Cards, why the email, why the website? This is the part where we are going to sell ourselves. WA has already taken Orchard, We will take over Malaysia, get shows over there, be well known both in Singapore and Malaysia. And when we come home we will bring back the glory with us to share with you three. Definitely we wont forget you guys, This little sacrifice might help us in the long run i hope you guys understand.
This is the only reason why we wont go for this trip:
- Not Allowed to have sponsors
- No Sponsors
- Any of the 11 wont be able to make it (Bad enough we have to let go three, i am not going to leave another)

To Kooch, Please rephrase wad you said cause you werent there for the important meeting. Yeah i noe you are in China. Maybe you have not seen that without NP, Baracuda will not be here right now, and like i said Baracuda will never be a phase in the life of the school. As we build ourselves outside and get our own instruments we will still work with NP - who is getting our instruments for us in January; and we will not leave our brothers and sisters who are still in NP. They will continue Baracuda no matter wad, and by the time Hazmi leaves NP, HOpefully A new Baracuda Building would have been built. And instead of having one world we will get the best of both worlds, NP and our freedom.
