Updates part 2

Ok guys. Sorry for the delay just now. I know it must be torturing to wait so long. Anyways here's some updates and SNEAK PREVIEW of the other gigs we have. NOTE: Any details we have we will update you guys ASAP. But we'll release the dates 1st so that you guys can be mentally prepared 1st.

->For tommorrow's rehearsal i have asked Faith whether we can skip it, but we can't. So whoever can make it, please meet 4 pm at the storeroom. Any changes i will update you guys tmr when i see you all for the gig.

Now it's the gigs for next month. If there is an asterisk means it's either not confirmed, either waiting for approval or waiting for the organiser to finalise, or it does not involve everyone.



*4th Nov: Photoshoot for Baracuda
Timing,Venue, Attire: TBC

This is for a possible feature of us in Xtra Hyper. I'm guessing it's a magazine for NP for secondary school kids. Anyways, the shoot might be scraped if we can find good photos of us to submit.



*12th Nov: Brazil Ambassodor Gig (Bloco)

This is for the NDPeeps. Anyone interested to go?Please let me know by the end of this week. I'm not sure of the details yet, but i want to know who is interested so at least i have numbers and i can ask Hanie for more details.



*13, 14th Nov: ACS Carnival
Timing: 11.30-11.45am and 12.30-12.45pm
Venue: ACS Barker
Attire: TBC

This is for seniors. However, this is not really confirmed as well because Faith might not approve of it as 13th is a school day.



17th Nov: Red Camp Opening
Timing, Venue, Attire: TBC

It's the Red Camp once again! This gig is for the opening slot for the entire event. This is more or less confirmed already, we're waiting for more details to be released.



19th Nov: Red Camp HopNite
Timing, Venue, Attire: TBC

Credits to Faiz for getting this for us! Anyways, this event will be in the evening, and it'll be full of sec sch kids ready to party, so get ready for them!



20th Nov: Dry Run for 22nd Nov's gig
Timing,Attire: TBC
Venue: Fountain Of Wealth@Suntec

This might have, might not have. We're waiting for more details to be mailed to us.



21st Nov: CAAS Aviation Run + URA Amazing Race
Timing: 8 am, 12nn
Venue: Singapore Expo Hall 3A, Floating Platform
Attire: TBC

We're still asking for finalisation with the organisers about this gig. Also, i have emailed Faith to ask her whether we can perform for this gig. So just to let you guys know 1st.



22nd Nov: NCPC Gig (BB + Bloco)
Timing: TBC (But should be in the early afternoon like 1 pm)
Venue: Fountain Of Wealth@Suntec
Attire:TBC

We'll be having our showcase of 10-15 mins, before we come together to set the record for Bloco Singapura to be the largest Bateria for Singapore. We'll should be playing Samba together with Bloco, so we'll practise on that. More updates soon.


So as you can see, we have quite a few gigs for November. We might be doing something to help make sure everyone don't get overworked, especially for the week of 16-22nd Nov. Until then please take note of these dates 1st.

Last but not least, please check the blog regularly. Hopefully there will be no cases of mixed attire whatsoever for future gigs. We will try our best to put what we know on the blog so that it's in black and white for easy reference.

Hi guys, i've just recieved news that the bus will be coming at 4.45, so please make sure you are on time! once again, it's WHITE TOP and LONG WHITE BOTTOMS. PLEASE BRING THE $5.

Also, please make sure you message me by 23rd Oct (THU) if you cannot make it or not interested in the 22nd Nov's gig. The timing is not confirmed, but the tentative time so far is 1 pm. The venue will be the fountain of wealth at Suntec city. Just a short note on what it's about, it is part of Bloco Singapura setting the record of the biggest bateria in SG, so we'll be part of it. But also more importantly, there will be about 10-15 mins of our own time to showcase out songs. So everyone is strongly recommended to come.

Also, last but not least, for the international bazaar showcase, we'll most likely be playing Samba for the event, so we will touch on that the next prac.
