Performing
In the case of wet weather, we will move groups at Paragon to the Shaw House underpass but we may not be able to accommodate dancers there.
Feel free to take breaks as and when you need to, but indicate the time of your next performance on the sandwich board. (More on breaks below)
If the equipment is not working, please approach the station masters.
Please mention the Bone Marrow Donor Programme and why you’re busking before and during the performance if possible. (More information on the BMDP below)

Taking Breaks
Indicate the time of your next performance on the sandwich board.
As a general rule, try to perform for two-thirds of the time you’re allocated; unless you’re a dance group, in which case you should obviously be taking longer breaks.
Lunch breaks should not last more than an hour.
Please remember to drink water frequently, especially if you’re outdoors!

About the BMDP
Bone marrow transplant is the last hope for survival for leukemia patients.
The chance of a match for an unrelated donor is 1 in 20,000 and 1 in 4 for siblings.
BMDP builds a register of potential bone marrow donors so that hospitals and transplant centers in Singapore and around the world can look for a potential bone marrow donor from Singapore.
All it takes to become a potential donor is to fill up a registration form and a finger prick for a blood sample at the Bone Marrow Donor Programme, National University Hospital or SGH Haematology Centre.
The sample is then sent for HLA tissue typing.
The results are then stored in the BMDP registry.
Potential donors will only get a call from the BMDP IF they are found to be a match.
Potential donors will be asked for another blood sample and sent for health screening.
More information can be found at www.bmdp.org or you can refer them to one of the organisers.

Signing Out
Please approach your station masters when you leave so they can sign you out.

Administrative matters
The amount of time you served at somethingood 2006, based on your sign-in and sign-out times, will be calculated by our Manpower department.
A letter from the BMDP explaining the festival and your involvement in it will be sent to all the educational institutions with festival participants. It will include the record of hours served.
The BMDP reserves the right not to award hours to those who do not sign out, return their cans or otherwise bring the organization and festival’s integrity into question.
The BMDP will not entertain any dispute over the number of hours served.
